sunday brunch...

...at the Alibi Room, where Norma hosted her very first Women's Networking brunch.

I was late, as usual. The alarm went off at 8:30; I woke up at 9:45, from a contended dream that I'd finally found the perfect white hoody (how mundane is that!). Finally showed up at 11 for the 10:30 brunch which I'd forgotten had been moved to 10.

Was happy that everyone stayed and chatted while I ate my smoked salmon benny in reverent silence. It was exquisite - sun-bright yolks and loads of salmon over sweet-potato latkes, drizzled with lemony hollandaise.
