1500 calories in 2 hours
That was what I worked off riding up and down Burnaby mountain twice yesterday, according to my heart rate monitor. 1501 calories in just over 2 hours, at an average heart rate of 163.
I've had the monitor since my birthday in December, and have used the chronometer along with the heart rate function, but only figured out yesterday that you can see a review of your workout, including time, average heart rate (overall and per lap), maximum and minimum heart rates, and - the best part of all - calories consumed.
No more worrying about those post-ride caramel oreo McFlurrys. And I savoured every last bite of the piping hot, super cheesy pepperoni pizza I had for dinner.
