tuesday, wednesday
yesterday - marginally better
- soy latte
instant oatmeal (plain Quaker instant oats, full of extra crap) with blueberries and the usual - banana
 - egg on toast
 - toast with non-hydrogenated margarine, Skippy peanut butter (probably full of trans fats, but it was one of those little single-serving packages that has no info) and brown sugar
 - a little home-made trail mix (nuts, chocolate chips, and raisins)
 - cherries and grapes from the Handsome and Gorgeous corner store
 - mandarin iced green tea (not so tasty)
 - veggie burger at 3rd beach (with tomato, onions, lettuce, pickle, relish, mustard, ketchup - no cheese or mayo)
 - apple juice

Today...
- Nescafe and soy milk
 - soy latte
 - instant oatmeal (plain Quaker instant oats, full of extra crap), no blueberries - forgot them at home

Things were looking up 'til 11 a.m. when Kari IM'd me to come get a piece of Laura's home-made carrot cake with cream cheese icing. Laura makes the best carrot cake I've ever tasted. She cut me a huge slab (no protest from me).
Back at my desk, I cut the slab in two and gave the bigger half to Jean.
4 big bites later I am still contemplating whether 1/2 slice of carrot cake counts as a half serving of veggies.

Nescafe? Gross.
it's kinda like the kraft dinner version of coffee. not remotely like it, but disgustingly good in its own way.
